I had put the globe in a patch of sunlight streaming through the window. As a result, the globe was really bright, and the background was pitch black.

I like how I got just the ball on the page, and how the foreground is more clear than the background. That's my dad reading the paper.

I didn't know where the rule of thirds setting was, so I eyeballed it.
